By Cecil creates contemporary handwoven textiles designed as future heirlooms. Handweaving reconnects us to our past and creativity. Throwaway culture has left us disconnected from the objects we own but slowing the process down can restore a sense of pride and ownership. Working with a micro mill in Bristol unites the handwoven with more traditional industrial methods and British heritage.
