Amanda-Sue Rope is a ceramicist based in London. Combining working at the wheel with hand-building Amanda-Sue creates constructed forms in red and white stoneware clay. Inspired by geometry and the richness of the built environment, recent work has focused on themes of stacking and assembling component thrown forms to create hybrid, architectonic vessels with rhythmic textured surfaces.
